Skill-oriented training to youths: State Minister Chaudhary

Dang, Aug 28: Minister of State for Labour and Employment Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary has said that the government would impart training to the youths and provide employment to them inside the country. 
At a programme organised by Dang chapter of Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh (NNJS) here today, Minister of State Chaudhary stressed on reducing the trend of brain drain among youths for lack of employment in the country. "The government is active in launching different types of skill-development training and expanding industries to create environment in the country where a youth can make at least Rs 25,000 income per month," he said. 
Earlier, Minister Chaudhary had inspected the Rapti Eye Hospital run by the NNJS. On the occasion, Senior Administrative Officer of the Hospital, Shumsher Thapa, briefed the Minister about the physical condition and service of the hospital. 
Stadium to be constructed in Dang 
A stadium is going to be constructed at Beljhundi of Dang in view of 8th National Games scheduled to be held in 2075 BS. 
Chairman of the District Sports Development Committee, Dilli Bahadur Dangi, said that the National Sports Council has allocated Rs 20 million for the construction of the stadium.

Offices Resuming Services From Today By Purushottam P Khatri Kathmandu, June 15:  All government and private offices are resuming their operation from June 15 after the government relaxed the nationwide lockdown in 83 days. According to Joint Secretary Basanta Adhikari at the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, all types of offices will open from Monday maintaining preventive health security measures based on the protocol designed by the offices themselves. The government has already notified that the offices will run in two shifts from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and the second shift from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The total working hours will be 10, he said. According to Adhikari, in each shift only half the staff members will have to attend the office as per the routine and necessary arrangements made by the offices themselves. Poverty drives child soldiers into Afghanistan's endless war The rescue this summer of dozens of Afghan youths destined to be trained as Taliban fighters has spotlighted how entrenched poverty is fuelling a renewable supply of child soldiers to endlessly replenish the insurgents' ranks.  Afghan forces freed almost 40 children during multiple raids near the Pakistani border.
