ICC Women's World T-20 Asia Qualifier: Nepal defeats China by 50 runs

Nepal has defeated China by 50 runs in today's final game under ICC Women's World T-20 Asia Qualifier held in Thailand.
Although Nepal won the competition held in Thailand, it did not make through for the global selection as it failed to finish in top two positions after UAE defeated Malaysia.
Nepal had the compulsion to defeat China while Malaysia had to defeat UAE and Thailand defeat Hong Kong for it to remain in top two positions. But UAE won the match.
In the match today, put into bat after losing the toss, Nepal garnered 102 runs in 20 overs at the loss of eight wickets.   
Captain Rubina Chhetri garnered 18 runs (not out) while Kajol Shrestha and Neri Thapa made 16 and 11 runs respectively.
In reply, China could muster only 52 runs after losing all wickets in 18.2 overs. Captain Chhetri and Sabanam Rai took three wickets each while Sita Rana Magar took two wickets.
